A family record for Jonathan Chase and Patience Peasley, drawn by Moses Connor circa 1818, probably near their home in Henniker, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
The artist's work can be recognized by the paired birds which face each other at the top of the design and by the joined inverted hearts between their names. Decorative lettering and borders and springs of leaves are also typically part of his compositions.
